Hi, I'm Matthew. I graduated in Spring 2026 from Liberal Arts and Science Academy in Austin, Texas. I am now studying at the Colorado School of Mines in Computer Engineering and Quantum Systems Engineering.
My academic interests include Computer Science, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security, and Abstract Mathematics. Outside of that I love Karate, Hiking, Skiing, Board Games, and my cats (find them at cutecathats.com).

- Quantum Computing: Developed trapped-ion simulation models in C++, presented findings to UT Austin Oden Institute faculty.
- CyberPatriot: Led chapter of 75+ students to 1st place nationally (Round 1, 5,000+ teams) and top-30 national Semifinalist.
- Cluster Computing with SLURM: Built a 4-node Raspberry Pi compute cluster processing genomic sequences and LIGO gravitational wave data.
- Subprime Lending Research Paper Worked with the Institute for Computing In Research to analyze the long tail impacts of subprime lending on the current US housing market.
